I worked on the S2000 a little yesterday, thought I had it fixed, and took it out for a testdrive. I turned onto the road I use as my testing grounds right behind a LS1 Camaro SS, not really thinking anything of him, just wondering how my car was going to run. I swung out into the other lane and cruised on by. I took it through the revs to test it out.

A couple seconds later I noticed the SS was chasing me. I backed off to try and line up with him, he caught up but stayed on my back bumper. After a couple seconds I downshifted and waited for a reaction, but he didn't budge. Finally I just got on it and he gave chase. I pulled about a length through 3rd, slammed the rev-limiter (like a 'tard) and he inched back. I grabbed 4th an continued to pull away maybe another car length before we shut down. He gave me the "wtf just happened?" look/wave, I waved back, and we parted ways.

I was all happy, my car seemed to be running good. Then a few minutes later my car started running like crap again. *sigh*

I was going to the drag strip tomorrow, but looks like those plans are canceled unless I figure out what's wrong w/ it. I'd expect to see something low 13's at 108ish.

Stock Camaro SS is fast. That car was what started my crazy obsession with modding cars. Far prefer my S2000 though, but man talk about torque! Nice kill!
