I do believe a true "street encounter" would end much differently, unless your screen name begins with an S and rhymes with "Ideways."

Bwahahahaha!!!!
Obviously too much car for the Carrera GT owner to handle. (FYI: it's more car than I can handle... but I didn't spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on one)
Runs into the dirt first on the left hand turn, then fails to correct his countersteer and appears that he spun out off the side of the track.

The driver of the CGT had the following to say about the runoff.
"I left the braking too late, missed the apex, and slid off the tarmac with the right wheels. i thought i could correct it on the fly... however, we know different. the real killer was the power-on too soon point, (excellent eye). i almost caught the car, the reaction (what you call "front tires momentarily hooked up again"), was strong and although i anticipated it, as i was correcting, my left side tires hit the dirt and THAT"S when i became a passenger. once those tires touch the dirt, it was bye-bye. there was no damage to the carbon fiber anywhere."
