Default S2000 vs Charger R/T

I have a MY00 with a test pipe and K&N filter for performance mods. Tonight a ran a Charger R/T with cat-back exhaust. I'm not sure what year the Charger was. However, the exhaust was mean as hell!

After a few tries at running from a slow roll we caught a light. I just happened to have put on my new Dirrezza Star Spec's this afternoon . I launched around 5500 rpm but I caught traction and bogged a bit. I thought he would have passed me for certain being he was automatic and all that torque. Well, I was wrong. I pulled about 1/2 a car on him in first, another 1 in second, and waas still pulling a bit in third. I shut it down at about 75mph with no sign of him starting to close the gap. I have to say, this is my 2nd kill in this S2000, first being an RX-8. I really do love this car and I can't wait for some future mods.

BTW, this happened tonight while cruising the streets of Mexico.

Beating a 4000+ lbs sled by a car and a half… WOW… What’s really funny is the Charger RT is 14.2 – 14.4 stock and the S2k is only slightly quicker (average low 14’s as well)… Although you can get in the high 13’s in an S2k with perfect conditions…

Dude, why rag on the kill? A kill is a kill whether by an inch or a mile It's not like the Charger only has 240hp....

Anyway Requiem nice kill, sounds like a blast

It’s funny what S2k’s are “racing” (sleds, Altimas and other nonperformance cars) and boasting about beating them… S2k’s are fastly becoming a joke…

The only joke here is you buddy. Seeing as how the R/T was modded with at least exhaust makes this a good comparison. Not everyone runs on the street what the magazines say they run at the track. Both cars are 14.0 second contenders with the advantage to the R/T on the street due to its automatic "just floor the gas and go" transmission, rear wheel drive and bottom-less torque.

BTW, what do you drive?

Two totally different types of cars… One a 4 door grocery getter and the other a convertible sports car… It’s hilarious how you are justifying beating the Charger (comparing #’)… He is probably telling his friend how an S2k only beat him by a car and a half…

He was modded... So are you...

What I drive
09 Cayenne as a daily driver
03 S2000 Inline Pro
07 Lotus Exige S
And a few other “toys”

Last time I checked the Charger was a remake of an old muscle car...... maybe I'm wrong though.

What's hilarious is how big of a tool you are. I was only insinuating that you too drive the vehicle you refer to as a joke. And I could care less what he is telling his friends. My car is a 240hp 4-cyl., hardly the fastest thing on the street. Take your bullsh*t to the Lotus forum if you want to bash on the S2000. This is a thread about an S2000 beating another car on an s2000 forum, not a pissing match. If you dont like what I write, don't read it.
