Default S2000 vs Civic Si (flashpro tuned, headers, exhaust, intake)

I have a stock 06 S2000 with PWJDM intake. My friend has a 2008 Civic Coupe Si with top of the line headers, exhaust, intake and flashpro tuned. E-dyno shows hes making 220whp and 200 tq.

went from a 30 - 80 mph roll and he beats me by about a fender till I misshifted into 4th. We tried to run again but there were cops around. I thought he would've definitely beaten by a few car lengths even at 80 mph. Am I underestimating the S2000?

that seems about right if you go against an Si with those mods. If all you have is intake, the Si should continue to pull and most of the time come out on top

yeah, try from a 40. a 30 will kill an ap2 low in 2nd gear without a tune wont go anywhere(out of powerband)

^ ?

in an AP2 you're still sitting at 6.5k rpm in FIRST gear, going 30 Mph.

outcome sounds about right; it should be a drivers' race.
just throw any single exhaust and gut your trunk and see what happens

Coming from an Si with the same mods, I can tell you that those K20's are pretty beastly with those mods. Forget that e-dyno. There's no way he's making 200 wtq, not even close. Depending on which I/H/E he has, 220 sounds about right, maybe a little high. The e-dynos need a perfectly flat road to be accurate. A slight decline could push numbers up higher. Anyway, yeah the flashpro really makes all the difference on the K20. Really widens the powerband. With that said, my stock S feels about the same as my Civic did at VTEC engagement and similar RPM. Seriously considering flashpro for the S. I kinda miss that midrange.

I agree, I have a 08 si 4dr with intake/TB spacer/hondata img/buddy club rh/ and mugen cat back/ w flash pro e tuned by jeff evans and I am putting down 218hp and 166 tq. No way he is putting down 200 tq. The k20 is a great motor and I would think that this would be pretty even with the s. I also have a CR and just got flash pro and putting in my test pipe and intake. I will see after a tune and I have the power band widened.

You mean 2nd gear dont you? Your lucky to get 30mph in first
i dknot what what first gear you have, but my ap1 1st gear is at 6800ish at 30mph. ap2 gears are shorter. i have driven my friends ap2 and his 1st gear at 20mph is 6k rpms. there is no way that 500rpms will net you 10mph in the same gear.
