Nice job.

I also ran a poorly driven E46 M3, from about 15-70 mph, and pulled a little. Under no circumstances will a bolt-on S2000 pull a remotely competent E46 M3 driver.

ya this is hard to believe, a stock s2k, let alone a bolt-on s2k, should not beat a m3, my dads got an m3, and before he turboed it it was still a beast, my s2k trailed...

It's not hard to believe. Have you ever been to a dragstrip? Watch Corvettes run 14s, newer Mustang GTs in the 15s, S2000s in the 15s, etc. Most people can't drive.

Edit: Don't forget that everyone thinks they can drive. And they think their friend that they're racing can drive. Recall the oft used comment "DUDE AND MY FRIEND CAN DRIVE" posted in a lot of kill stories.

If you ever done 1/4 racing..It's not as easy as it looks..lol

Track conditions have to do a lot to do with the ET&mph...But the driver mod is a huge factor
Yes, hundreds and hundreds of passes! Definitely a lot more involved than most people think.

just like the S2k...if you buy an M3 to go fast in a strait line...your dumb...as there both slow at that...

of course that excludes a $5k+ turbo setup for an S2k, or a $15K+ HPF turbo setup for the E46 M3...

well if you've been to the track that much, then you've noticed that 49 out of 50 E46 M3's that run at the track run low low 14's@101ish...very very few run mid 13's@103...and thats it... truly there not that much faster than a S2K...but i guess you have to witness w/ your own eyes 2 dozen plus pulls between e46 M3's and stock to mildly modded S2ks barely getten broken off, or the S2k staying ahead...and when the e46 does pull...its north of 120 usually(in a roll)...

and i have the Horse Power Freaks guys running there M3's at my track...
So your logic only applies to BMW's? 49/50 S2000's never trap higher than 100 MPH.
