Thx. I may be a bimmer man, but you are pure rice with your fantasy stories. No way did you lose by only 1.5 cars from a roll in 1st gear. I will dust you from a 1st gear roll, and I've lost by 2-3 cars to the new M3. Of course, I'm not stock, but not far from stock either.

 

Sounds like we need another first hand comparo...anyone from Texas willing to look up Mad...

We all ran each other about 6 months ago (the last time we saw Maddogtx...punk ), I think that Lips beat him on the first race, then Dome's (maddogtx) shifter came off during the second race...that was sweet. From what I remember, from a roll, Dome's car was pretty close to a stock S2000, I don't really remember if he was pulling on the other S's or if they were pulling on him. Dome has my number, and he knows when we're out looking for trouble...I'm sure he'll be out soon to shut some people up.

My shifter came off on the 1st run so we both shut it down.
On the second we both had decent launches as we were dead even then I pulled 2 cars before we shut it.

I just had to reply to this guy on this board that claims he lost from roll only by 1.5 cars to a new E46 M3. This guy's ragging my ride....not nice. I had to set the record straight. My friend Tuan, the one with the white CLS, now has a stock M3 so a better comparo can be used there. As for me, I am not stock as most of you know. Dinan CIA, and Software back when I first met you guys. As of today, I have added a Dinan Euro HFM + Throttle Body, UUC Exhaust, and 18 inch Fikses so hopefully I'm a tad faster. Either way, I will still run anyone interested as we are all cool.

 

I remember him. His CAI scared the crap out of Lips, thought the car was going to explode when he hammered it. I think I liked that guy better when he had a slower car...I will not like him as much now that he's got an M3.

I picked up late on this topic, but an E46 will smoke a S2000 from a 1st gear rolling start.

No. Tuan has the same one as me. E36. Much slower than the new E46. I wish we could meet at the same road off Beltway. Now that was fun......
