You can always turbo the Elise.

This kit is available for $10k for the elise.

you can actually get some dealers to install it for you as part of the price... that's what I'm looking to do with mine if I can ever sell my dam S4 and give them the rest of the downpayment on this one...

My wife has a Exige, not sure if you have them in the states but if anyone is considering take an elise for a spin after the comments see if you can get your hands on a Lotus Exige.

Cheers

James

I have both elise and s2000, I have done side by side compare in freeway from 80-130. s2000 have no chance against elise.

The Elise looks like so much fun... wish I had 50k to buy one... but then, would I get an M3 instead?

No chance? What a load of rubbish! The S2000 has the advantage at higher speeds as most Elises start to run out of steam above 100mph..... which Elise do you have exactly?

I've done track days with Elises plenty of times and not once has an Elise been faster on the longer fast straights.....

Geez guys...can't you take it that a car with 50 less hp and 900 less lbs.!!! is faster than us...its also more expensive...

overall, its a better car. yes it is faster...maybe the S will start to catch up by 130-140 but then, we start running out of steam too.

Besides that is NEITHER of these cars strong points...these cars are made for cornering, and the Elise definitly exceeds the S there
