Default S2000 vs Ford Lightning

co-worker of mine got a 01 lightning...they're all supercharged and have crazy supercharged torque..he was talking about running mid 13's....i say its a heavy ass truck still..that kinda why it needs all that torque...so who would win?..anybody ever encounter one?

stock for stock, i would give the advantage to the s2, but with about 400 bucks a lightning becomes a very fast truck. never underestimate them. think cobra with a bed.

my uncle has one that runs 12.3's at 5200lbs, with about 497rwhp and 567rwtq.

that would make sense since stock lightning are speed limited to 120.

I ran one on the highway and it ate me alive. It was LOUD as hell. Be very cautious with them. The driver was really cool though, we gave huge thumbs up to each other and nodded afterwards.

It always seemed a close encounter when I was driving the S. Like all forced-induction vehicles they get modded cheaply. But I seem to notice they all have trouble hooking up on the street.

All that Lightning has to do is swap the SC pully and it'll make some very impressive numbers. Can't imagine that there is a stock one left on the road considering how easy that swap is to do.
