S2000 vs Lightning

I ran him one time before this but i couldnt get my phone out. That race was dead even until 120 where i pulled up to where his front bumper was beside my door we shut down around 140.
I messed up in the video because i pushed the gas on the third honk instead of the 2nd. So my truck was still downshifting when he took off. When i ended the video i was inching back up on him, but in the vid it kinda looks like we let off even though we were both still full thottle. I know he probably would have kept pulling if his top were up but either way it makes me miss my S.

Nice run, and death.
His top being down probably evened out your delayed start. My S when it was stock use to be pretty even with a buddies L up until ~ 100-110mph. Then my S would just start to stretch away once the lightning shifted to 4th (4 speed, with an extremely long and powerful 3rd gear). They really fall right on their face up top in stock form when you couple in their gearing and aerodynamics above 110mph.
Auto trannies FTL. Daytime video with good shifting FTW!
