I was just wondering if anyone knew if an s2000 can beat a mustang GT convertible at highway speeds, say up to 200 km/h. My buddy has a GT and last night we ran from a standstill. First run he had a better launch and kept a car length ahead, but I seemed to catch up a bit as we neared 140 km/h. The second run I got a better launch and beat him by about one car length. So, it seems to be a driver's race. Since it seemed that I was catching up slowly as the speeds got higher, I was wondering if we did a rolling start on a highway, would I be able to take him? Thanks for any info.

i never raced a new gt that i couldnt beat , even if it was half a car
miss a gear, shift like shit and you r a looser!
