Default s2000 vs. POS PROBE

The other day I was coming home late at night from a friend's house, stopped at the light, when this POS ford probe pulled up next to me, da driver and his girlfriend, not sure what year the car is, don't know much about the car either.
It was late at night, so I didnt pay attention to the next car, just minding my own business waiting for the light to turn green, when I slowly ease off the clutch while giving a little gas when the light turned green, I heard the probe was flooring it, so immediately I floored it 2, instantly passing him with a smile on my face, while his jaw just dropped open got to about 60mph in 2nd gear, and shut it off, and I was like 4-5 car length front of him. I ease off da case to let the probe catch up, and when he passed me by, he was yellin somethin like what kindf piece of shit is that... I responded with... "THE kind PIECE OF SHIT that just smoked your car"

GOSH I just hate these ppl that think their car is da shit, and can't be proud of losing. Does this ever happened to any of y'all?

How fast is a probe anyway?

If memory serves, my '94 Probe GT was about 7.2 seconds, 0-60. It has a DOHC 2.5L V6 with 164 HP and 160 ft/lb of torque. The only "quick" ones are the 5 speeds, the slush box is a lot slower.

'97 base model: 1/4 mile in 16.8 seconds, 0-60 9.2
Probe GT 1/4 in 16 flat, 0-60 7.5

I am not a big fan of fords but my friend is. Once I told him I thought probes look ugly. He said, "but they are super fast!"

I got picked on by 2 Civics while in the E55. I obliged them, and long story short: It was ugly.
