Default S2000 vs S2000

Guys, how would you react to someone who owns an S2000 and he is talking shit about how he will kick your ass when racing??? I was happy to hear that he bought an S2000 but I'm starting to get little pissed because he thinks he is the shit......

Well since both cars are about the same, he's definitely putting you the driver down. He's saying that he has skills, so just prove him wrong.

if he's putting you down as a driver.. racing him will either make him shut up or make it worse.. i say run him anyway.. just be ready to go all out.

get a G-tech if you have time and $$.. practice till you get the lowest time you can possibly pull and do that against him.

practice launching.. usually 6.5-7krpm for the street.. try to get as little wheel spin as possible.. while keeping it above 6k rpm.. the entire launch.. or else you will bog.. and lose. holding it there and continuing to press down slowly till you get traction and feel the car hooking up.. then stomp it.. shift right at redline.. practice speed shifting.. make sure you do it right though.. clutch stomped all the way down shift.. clutch up.. but do it as fast as you can.. w/ out mis-shifting or anything.

About the same . I think you should practice first. Never go in to a battle if you're not sure you're going to win. Don't depends on luck, practice and spank that ass.

When I first met Mark (Lips2000) he wanted to race me after our S2000 dinner, said he didn't think the Supercharger would make that much of a difference. My first thought of Mark was, "What, is this guy stupid?". My current thought of Mark is, "What, is this guy stupid?"

Hey Mark, how did that turn out anyway?

That guy who just bought an S2000, that is his first stick car. Obviously, he is not all that great at driving. I got to talk to him today and he seemed like a nice guy. Anyway, if he wanted to race, I know for sure that I can beat him......

Then you should race him to humble him.
