I think I got myself into something a dit deep...After Beating that Boxster the other day I got alot of calls because his cousin has a car club...The one call I got is from this kid with this Supra TT that is in the club and he wants to race me for 500.00 and I need some advice weather I should do it or not. Hes not the greatest driver but it is a TT Supra and I am completely Stock or should I tell my boy with the Supercharged S2K to take him out? I mean I could use the 500.

boxster is within the performance similarity level (?) as the s2k...although its a more expensive car, s2k outperforms it in almost any or every case...

supra? its out of our range. MAYBEEEEE....stock? i still wouldn't run a stock...its still got FI and your NA...stock supras aren't THAT fast even with TT, but they are faster than normal cars...our 9k vtec wouldn't be worth facing the slightly modded TT for $500...

Yeah I think your right I mean all he has to do is turn his boost up to destroy me but alot of people said it wasn`t that quick becuz he cant drive so I figured I could stand a chance on that alone..In a few months I am gunna charge the S with a comptech and hopefully walk all over him

I just called my buddy Tom to see if I should do it and he said you migh have a chance because I beat him by like 25 cars (but he does have a Comptech Charged 97 NSX)

But if there is any supercharged S2K in the NY that wanna make 500 let me know and I`ll try to set it up.

 

DONT DO IT! my brother has a supra TT i race him all the time and the outcome is still the same. He kills me by 100 car lengths man its not even a challenege. He just went single with and sp67 and now its even more crazy of a length. He did race a supercharged s2k when he was stock TT with just bpu+++ and smoked it very very badly

 

Like everybody else has said, don't run with him stock.

 

a boosted s2k would walk a stock tt supra. not sure what they run in the 1/4 but i'm sure its not running 12s stock, as oppose to a boosted s2k

 

Iva ran a stock one from a roll but not from a dig. I pulled on him very easy. What to the stock TT put down for RWHP?

 

A Sc'ed (or even better a turboed) S2000 will put out in the 300 whp range. That should be a very good (for you) match for a stock Supra TT that put out 320 hp at the crank. the problem is very few Supras are stock. With exhaust, intake and a boost controller they are putting out at least 400 hp. Even a Comptech SC'ed NSX might find it hard going against a decently fixed Supra. I have a friend with boost controller, exhaust, intake, and IC that dynoed at 400 whp. Stock turbos.

I'm sure he's modded it somehow (would be a crime not to). You will lose for sure.
