Default S2000 vs. Vette

So I see this car behind me right on my ass as Im about to get onto a 2 lane onramp for the freeway. He pulls next to me and paces. We were rolling at about 15mph and we gunned it on the 3rd honk when we got to the straight away. I sling shot ahead and keep pulling! I know he was trying cuz I heard him. Its true, having 3 inch single exhaust piping gives you a decent jump in top end and VTEC even for N/A like mine! I kept pulling till I hit about 115 then I shut down when I saw him slow down. Was around 4 car lengths ahead of him. It looked like a mid 90's model Vette. All black, looked pretty clean!

Steve C. to the white courtesy phone, paging Mr. Steve C. to the white courtesy phone please.

If it was a late 90's model, I'm going to have to guess that either his car is running like ass or he had a bottle of water stuck under the go pedal.

How fast are the 340hp Vettes? I think that was the rough power outage for the early 90's models?

Good post, I was thinking the same thing. This must be a strong prescription of S2000 specs.

If it was a C4, my memory is that 1/4 times varied from mid 14s for the early models to mid/low 13s for the later models, excluding the ZR1. Just my memory, it's still early, no coffee yet.
