Not really, with just an MBC they can pull about 300 lb/tq.
He says it was chipped, so I dont doubt it is around the 300 hp mark.

You can modify a POS with whatever you want, it's still a POS.
Take some corners and the volvo will fly off the road.

I've never heard volvos refered to a POS
Volvos are very nice turbo sports sedans.

The Volvo 850 is a very nice car and backed by a bullet proof engine.
Because of its looks, its a very nice sleeper.

There are some really ignorant people if anyone really believes a Volvo 850T (not even the R model) could do this without some serious HP modifications. Stock for stock it's not even in the same class.
BTW.. The R and the normal T are the same Engine/Transmission/Turbo the only diffrence is the R runs 13psi instead of 9psi because it has a diffrent ECU map. The 850T I am talking about has a speedtuning ECU chip and runs 17psi.

I'm curious as how you heard Vetec kick in over your turbo...it's not that noticeable

Speedtuning 17psi ECU Chip.

The other thing is that the S2000 was not stock. It had exhaust maybe an intake (But not 100%). As far as hearing the Vtec it was pretty easy to hear the change through the exhaust note.
