Arrow S2000 vs Z28

2005 S2000- gutted airbox, ACT clutch, Fidanza flywheel, Skunk 2 test pipe, and Skunk 2 exhaust.

6 Speed Z28 - cold air intake, headers, x pipe.

Is this how I should have held up?

Pretty good actually, bud. If you were tuned with ems/header/tp/exh, then you would have won. Plain n simple. It was still very very close.

And these things gain a lot with simple bolt ons...

I give the race a

Also, with the supporting mods of the tp and exhaust..you would need more air intake....Well I guess the gutted airbox was ok for now, but would have been slightly better with at least a cold air

He only got you by like a foot and a half anyway nothing to brag about for him. If anything he should be ashamed that he beat you by so little
1 you were playing his game (strait line)
2 hes got almost 3 times your displacement

Nothing to feel bad about there. Z28 needs the driver mod since those mods should have him trapping at least 110 in a LS1 car.

About right - assuming that's a bolt-on LT1 Z28 in good running condition. You faired really well if that's an LS1 Z28, as the poster above said.

What year was it?

I'm pretty sure that's not a LS1!

...which makes me think that maybe this was an LT1 Z28 (and not an LS1 Z28). hell, a stock LS1 Z28 is capable of ~108mph traps, which is far out of reach of the S2k, even with said mods...

that being said, congrats on the kill. sometimes its more gratifying to be able to say that you were the better driver than it is to be able to say that you had the faster car.
