My friend just bought a 05 toyota avalon... and is asking me to race him.. i know both cars r diff in their class.. but he insists on it .. ne1 raced it b4? wat do u guyz think da outcome wud be... i know it sounds crazy .. but i think i wanna try. so just wanted to get ur inputs on it... if ne1 raced .
Avalon is a 280hp car. its heavy as a pig but im sure my friend would want to race from a roll too..

Not sure what the spec is of the Avalon but I blasted a new Lexus GS - I pulled slightly on the straight but blew him away on the roundabout by the Palace in Zabeel.

 

Yes im da same guy.. well Gs300 is not worth the run .. but gs430 is a v8 4.3 same engine as sc430.. so dat wud b a good race..

u will pull even before vtec, and pull tremendously after. i happened to "race" one yesterday. lady trying to cut me off, i heard her engine race, so i gently pressed the pedal to stay even. then i mashed vtec and let her get behind me.

 

unless you're a crummy driver, you'll bury him.

He kept up on the straights but was obliterated after one roundabout.

Nice Kill... Always good to run those expensive cars .. and da look on their owners is priceless.. i mean spending around AED 210k for a lexus and still cant keep up, makes u smile all over again abt our 4 banger.

Um, the new Avalon run's trap speeds close to 100mph. They are ridiculously fast considering the type of car it is.

 

R u sure abt dat 100 mph trap speed.. i mean WHOA... dats quick.. as quick as an S.

 

Dead serious. Those brand new Avalons haul some a**.

Of course, the likelihood of running into someone who is going to drag race their Avalon is pretty damn small.
