all i know about his mods that he has a bigger turbo, intercooler, aftermarket exhaust, i have no idea what boost he`s running, also his car isnt tuned yet, its a work in progress, i might see him when he tune it tomorrow in my friend`s garage

Seriously. If I did that to my car I woudl not want to race until a tune was done. Not safe.

Well if he is running that he would have to running some type of EMS. Most come with a pre-written Map. The op doesn't seem to know alot about the guys car so it hard to tell.

No EM comes with a OTS map for a turbo swap, and even something as small as an intake can give OTS maps fits, though they usually don't.

Ummmm yes they do. Thanks for not calling me an idiot this time. Look it up. Cobb I am 100% sure depends on the turbo they have the VF series the 16g and the 18g. I beleive UTEC does, open ecu and Hydra. Never said it was better then a protune but its safe to run. Again I don't have a STI I have a WRX so thats what I know the most about. So maybe they didn't make it for u guys highly doubtful but Im not sure.
