So here we are, driving down the interstate and this srt4 decides he wants some?!?! Who is this guy in the srt and, "why does he want some?" is the question i came to ask myself. And then i remebered i told my friend to follow me to the interstate for a little fun.... So here we are a a 40mph roll (to his advantage) and then the fatefull Beep Beep Beep GO! He jumps up about 1/4 of a car panel and then....VTEC says YO lets GO . I flew by this guy like he was standing still or dragging a parachute, lol. by the time i hit triple digits, i was 7 or more car lengths ahead and pulling REALLY hard. First KILL!


Before people start raising the " " i would like to say that VTEC and Boost are a good combo . Just installed my first turbo kit, as most can tell and now im goin for a corvette kill, wish me luck, ill need it...

P.S. i think im in with boost.

 

Turbo's are wonderful things but I am going to Supercharge my S later this year. Just because they add a turbo to a NEON they think it will go fast. I just love the guys that race ya when they know you are NA and they are FI.

I killed my freinds SRT-4 from about 40. I put 3 cars on him.. I just have bolt on's. From a Higher Speed (60+) we are about even.

The turbo s has about 400 hp at crank , i just like saying 400, but 320 rwhp and about 200 tq. I was suprised at the hp gains but the tq gains were rather small.
I havent taken it to the track, only had it on for about 2 days. The company i bought it from tracked theirs with stock tires at 12. 3, they havent updated their site yet but its

The time slip is with old turbo kit putting about 294 rwhp with 112 trap speed, it has since been upgraded.

yea, ya caught me...i just talked to street driven, and i think im getting it tuned up next friday!

 

New article in "Honda Tuning" where they add the aftercooler onto the Comptech SC. They got 325 whp & 190 lb.-ft. of tq. Pretty interesting article with lots of pictures. That is great info. regarding the UR turbo system 320 whp & 200 lb.-ft. of tq is very nice.

you go back and forth...first turbos are wonderful, then if its slapped on a neon from the factory its a disgrace to you somehow even if the car is in a completely different class than that of your own, but you're going fi in the future so its all good. Oh well, I like my car and thats good enough for me, but dont knock someone just because their car came from the factory with a turbo and wants to run you, dont humor them with a run if its such an embarassment to you. [sarcasm] whats next, buick will put a turbo on a regal from the factory...I bet people will think its fast too, but its still a regal[/sarcasm]. to each their own, and I digress.
