I've seen the V6 3.5 Altimas run low 14's.... so that'll be more of a driver's race. If you race the 4 cylinder then I don't think I needa explain that one...

Definitely the S given equivalent drivers, because they basically have the same hp, but the S is much lighter, rwd, has better gear ratios, etc. The Altima does have advantage in torque, but a good driver can overcome the torque issue in an S.

I would take the S, based on weight and rear-wheel drive.

i used to own a modded 3.5 altima 5 speed.
i would say it depends on what kind of a race it is, for instance,
if it was from a 40-50mph roll on 2nd gear, i think the altima would have a good chance of winning. from dead start, definitely the S in my opinion.

I had a couple of bolt-on's on my altima, and it was running high 13s all day. this one guy's best time with his 3.5 5 speed was 13.6. so... i would say pretty much driver's race?

if both drive well, the race should be for the s2k
i think its pretty impressive for a 4dr eco sedan

The Altima will take an S from a stop most of the time.

Not if the S's driver can launch decently.

Are you guys saying that an Altima 3.5 is a driver's race for a 350Z as well? Somehow I kinda doubt that. If both are driven well, the S will win everytime, from a stop or roll.
