s2k vs. crx

One my way to the bar to hang, everyone looking and drooling over my s2k. A guy in his totaled out piece of #@!$ crx starts revin his crap. So he rolls up and wants to run. I deicde on going out to the interstate. Oh and by the way this was one built crx, b16, mugen ecu cold air headers exhaust cat-back and 100 shot. So we start out on a roll about 35mph then he gets the jump on me and i pull up side my side all the way to 120 mph. So we pull off and i ask him if he sprayed on me but he said no and i know for sure because i smelled it all around his ride. Just though i might share this adventure with everyone.

A B16 CRX with those mods will NOT pull on an S unless he sprayed; and he definitely did. In fact, it will lose convincingly if he didn't spray.
When raced with my friend's B18 Civic hatchback with a Greddy turbo from a roll, he blew by me like a speeding bullet. Before he put the turbo on, I beat him pretty good from a roll. I teased him about it quite a lot, like: "Who's da queen b? Bonny is!"
After a while, he got his turbo and well, I ain't da queen b anymore.

Hey, Saud2K, how's Kuwait now? Is it peaceful? I'm going to travel to Greece next summer, and I'll do a tour to other countries too. I wouldn't mind visiting Kuwait, but only if it's peaceful. Like, no way in hell would I go to Iraq, Israel, etc. anytime soon. 
I've been in the race scene for quite a while now. When I was a freshman and sophomore in college, I was in an all-girl racing club and we used to race quite often. We went to illegal (but very safe in a sense that there were only racing cars, no other by-standers) street races, kinda like the one in Fast and Furious but not as big. And we went to import car shows, activities, etc. It was very cool. I still go once in a while but not nearly as much anymore. BTW, I didn't have a modified car to race with or anything. I had a Lexus SC400 and I rarely ran her. It was just so fun hanging out with those girls who liked to race and were into cars.

A CRX with a bolt-on B16 will give an S2K fits up to decent speeds. You're talking about 150-160 whp vs. 200 whp in the S2000, but the CRX weighs in at 2150 lbs or less depending on year while the S2000 is 2750.
With a 100 shot on the CRX you have a car capable of running low 12's on slicks and trapping at 108-110 mph. It would have pulled away from a non FI S2000 like it was standing still.

A CRX can weigh as little as 1,950 pounds depending on the year and model. You are also forgetting the car is probably OBD1 which responds a million times better to mods than an OBD2. It should be a damn good race between that CRX modded and a stock S. If he was spraying, he would of left you pretty easily.
