Default S2K vs E36M3 (highly moded)

I got killed so bad. It was 5 in the morning. We were on the way to race track. 40+ to 130 on the highway. I was in second gear, and I can hear him on 3rd gear. We both punched it at the same time. By the time I gets to 130, he is already many many car length in front of me doing 160. Keep in mind, since we are going to the race track. He has 1 set of race tires in the back seat, lots of tools in the trunk. and, still out run me like I don't even exist. That was one fast E36M3. That really makes me want to buy a POS M3 and track it.

I forgot to add the spec of his M3.
95 M3.
Shriek Racing Cam
engine rebuild @ 45K miles for more power.
CAI.
LTW flywheel.
Taller final drive ratio.
Coil-over suspension.
Camber-toe adjustament plate.
lots of stereo add-on.
19 inch BBS Motorsports wheels. Yes, it does rub the rear fender.
Racing Dynamics 2 piece adjustable rear wing.
Racing Dynamics front lower splitter also adjustable.
He had maximum downforce configuration that day.

umm! seems the list is shorter than I remembered. Oh well, this is already good enough to outrun our S2K anyway.

Those cars are pretty fast. Can you really say POS and M3 in the same sentence?

One of the person in town, she has a really really badly kept 95 M3 for sale. The exterior is pretty much scratched up and rusted. The body kit is falling apart. One side of the rear spoiler is no longer attached to the trunk. The interior (uhh! What interior!) is even worse. Who ever buys this car has to get a whole new interior. Those leather seat looks so beat up. I almost bought one for the track. Too bad, that was a early 95 production. No good for the track.

M3's are fast as hell and at those high speeds, s2k's got no chance. German cars basically have no governors on them or top out at very high speeds, they don't got autobahn's for nothin.

ok, brand new S2k vs brand new M3
Both 2001

S2k 0-60 in 5.6 roughly Mid-High 5s
M3 0-60 in 4.8 roughly High 4s

Top speed
S2k - 150
M3 - 155

Drag Coefficient
S2k - supposedly above 0.40 (rag top, what do you expect, Honda won't even announce it)
M3 - 0.32

Gas Tank
S2k - 13.2
M3 - 16.6
