i was wondering if anybody has raced these cars from the line or a roll? my buddy owns a eclipse v6 and he swears up and down that he beats these cars by about a few cars when he races them. ive been wanting to run him, but our schedule clashes...so i was wondering has anyone else encountered these car and how well you all do agianst them.

the eclipse gts has no chance against any s2000 w/halfway decent driver. Your friend is smoking crack unless he has some good mods (and standard bolt-ons won't cut it, I'm talking forced induction).

I got in a tussle with a V6 Eclipse that was modded. It was such an ass whoopin i put on him I didnt even bother posting about it. Lay the smack down on him!

 

Uhh....your buddy is in trouble unless 1)you're driving with a broken leg or 2)his car has a lot of work done to it. An RSX-S is more than a newer gen eclipse can handle, and an S2K will make quick work of them.

 

I dyno'd my car with my friend's auto v6.
I put down 201, he put down 153 on the same dyno, one right after another. Even if its a manual car, wont matter at all.

 

yah, you'd better cream that V6 Eclipse! I used to own a '98 Eclipse GS-T and that baby used to beat the V6's all the time! hated the torque steer though...
