Default S2K vs GS430????

Any idea of how the S would do against the GS430 at highway speed and 0-60. Anyone raced one? Just curious - I really like those cars

I donno about that... the GS430 is one fast car. The GS400 was already very fast. On paper you should win, but the GS430 is sub 6 second 0-60... with an auto and way more torque down low, it'll jump ya.

having both, i have to say both are fast but with the gs, you feel tremendous amount of torque. on a straightline race, the gs430 will probably win more times than not....on corners, s2000 hands down....

I was racing with a S2K last week when my engine was pretty stock. He was a friend and we lined up at a red light. When it turned green I jumped off the line.. had a better launch. To about 30 I was winning. Then I heard vtec roaring behind me then he came smoking by me The next time I race him Ill smoke him.

IS 300? Are you kidding me?

You will not feel anything close to a tremendous amount of torque in either the GS 430 or the GS 400. I've driven both. The latter more than the former. I call a Stage II S4 tremendous amount of torque (let me say that I have not had much time behind the wheel of domestics).

The S2000 will pull from either one at speed and if you do the 7K launch, it won't jump out by much if anything at all.

I am sorry man - but I think the S2K must have missed one or two shifts. Auto IS300 vs. S2K - no competition AT ALL.

Not to say I don't like the IS300 - they are VERY nice cars but nowhere close to the S2K in speed.

Well I wont get to try again and see if the same thing happens. Next time I race a S2K it is going to get eaten up. Unless the S2k is built up
