I was crusin at about 60 in 5th and he game next to me and gunned it. He was about two car lengths ahead of me when I dropped it down to 3rd and went after him. I caught up to him so fast and passed him. He was about a car length behind me all way till I hit 5th gear @ 119 I believe. I started to pull but the street was coming to a curve so immediately let the gas go and hit the brakes..
Doesn't sound so exciting, but he's a big head and always talkin. He's my boy though. Props to him with his ride.
I'm not one to street race, however, a late model IS was playing around with me a couple of weeks ago and I got fed up and decided to dust him. No problem.
Typical of Toyota / Lexus products these days, all show with no go. Too bad, as the IS is a good looking sedan from certain views (other views it looks like a 4-door Civic). The Lexus "stealership" told me that the IS may come out with a V8 that is in the SC430. If that happens, perhaps the IS will put up a better display of "performance muscle".

Actually the 2006 IS will have a tuned 3.5 liter V-6 from Toyota Avalon with 300hp.
