Default s2k vs Moded GST

Ran against a modded GST with a huge ass inturcooler and huger (i think) 3 inch exhaust.. I barely won by 1/4 of a car before we had to shut it down.. it was a 70-115 mph run on 680 near milpitas. I can hear his blow off valve when he shifts (had the top up).
First run I beat him.. then second run.. all of the suden his car pulled like a mother!! I gues that's what boost controller can do to you.. if we had more space.. and my top up.. I would have increased the margine!!!!! whura S2000!!!!

With your top down at that speed, it makes a lot of different. I think with the top up u can get him at least 1 more car.

Generally if a GST has gone with an FMIC they have an upgraded turbo as well. I think the most popular upgrade is a 16G or a Frankenstein, either way if he wanted to, he could win. My GST with some mods plus some injectors and other mods to allow more boost ran 12's. Not to mention that DSM's are highway monsters, I use to destroy C5's on the highway (in my Eclipse) and that's not the case with the S2000. He either didn't have alot of mods or wasn't running much boost. Boost is the great equalizer.
