S2K vs Sti
i just installed my comptech supercharge not long ago so i asked my friend who have a Sti to see how the result is....
and the result is just 1 full car length on him from 100km/h to 200 km/h...
is this reasonable or acceptable?
mine just supercharged, everything is stock,
he just have downpipe, no exaust as well..
so what u guys think??

I am not sure what your hp #'s are nor the STi with just a downpipe, but I think you would have a bit more than 1 car length. Currently, I am putting down 310 awhp in my STi and I am sure that my old boosted S2K (same whp) would definitely beat my STi. I did have the smaller pulley. The S pulls like crazy in the higher rpm range where the STi will run out of juice.

that is about correct, now bolt on a vf22(600.00) and a no cat exhaust (500.00) and a access port program (~700.00) and kill the S2000 with a s/c and basic mods.
Total cost:
S2000~32000.00 + sc ~4500.00 + exhaust ~ 500.00 + sex appeal (priceless) = ~37000.00
STI ~32000.00 + mods 1800.00 + no sex appeal (?)+ way faster = ~33800.00
I have had them both, My sti would kill 911's 70-120mph any day, My S2000 got me laid
Its a tie ?

I put down 320 whp in the S. Raced a stock STI and beat him by about 4-5 cars until 120, and this is from the dig. Granted, he didn't know how to launch his car and we were even coming out of the hole.
