So after I drop off my hot little korean girlfriend at home, i start my drive back to my house. Expecting to run across the game g35 i always do, I ended running across a G37S in silver (didnt look as good as I thought it would). He sees me gives a small chuckle, slow's down, then does a fly by. At first I was like eehh should I go for it? I had the top down and heater on (its a little chilly here) and I said why not, so i go catch up to him and pull up next to him, before I know it he starts to take off, so I drop it into 1st and perfectly right on vtec, he at first gets about 1/2 car lead on me since he took off first, I then quickly gained and we are neck and neck, i shifted and gained a 1/2 car on him..

and then i noticed it... this guy has no idea how to shift his car.... It looked like he pressed the clutch and let go of gas, waited what seemed like 10 seconds, put it into gear and didnt properly release the clutch and press gas right cuz it started to jerk. then tried to catch up. At the end of the small run, I was about 4 car lengths ahead. Ive raced a G37S before and I beat it by almost car lead, but this guy disgraced the g37....

 

Nice Kill, however if you find one who knows how drive (even auto maybe)I think they should have little problem walking us........

 

^I dont know...the g37 is the same speed as the g35, it has more hp, but it weighs more.

I've raced my friends G37 6spd and I maintained a car lead all the way up to about 95. They're not as fast as everyone makes them out to be.

i'm not sayin they r fast but the G37 have a distinct advantage over us the same way we have an advantage over the G35.

also, are we talkin about the coupe or the sedan?

 

I have the FIPK intake and that's it. G37 only comes in coupe atm. Whether or not he got a good launch I know I did and I pulled in first gear and maintained it the whole way. The same thing happened with the 07 G35S. Those gave me a few problems if I had a bad launch. When I got a good launch I pulled alway slowly up top. I'm friends with alot of the G family and ran almost every one and the only one that gave me a problem was the G35S. I've raced i/h/e 04-05 G35 and had no problems beating them. Billman has driven my car and he says its a factory freak. Second fastest stock AP2 he said that he's ever driven and he's driven quite a few s2000s.

 

i went to a local drag-strip here in the bay area and there was a auto g37 the was running 14's all day long, i thought it would be faster
