Making a long funny story short...my friends brother has a 95 camaro LT1 6 speed black w/silver racing stripes.(which he thinks is gods gift to earth) He also has Intake, exhaust, headers, and MSD ignition done to the car...anyways, we were all talking about cars and my friend happens to make a comment to him that my car is a 2.0 and will run him. (not my idea) Well just like every other muscle car owner he takes offence and immediately starts saying theres no way that thats possible blah blah blah...so we deside to find out...we go out to this road southgate and like 52nd or something and theres no1 around and on green we go...I launched at 6 and got a pretty good start and immediately right out the hole pull a 1/2 a car on him, it stays that way through the rest of 1st, then I shifted to 2nd and put another 1/4 on him, stayed that way through 2nd, then all the way through 3rd hes right there not droping or gaining but still almost a car back, I hit 4th and it stayed the same, I shut it down a little bit into 4th and turned around to go home...when we got back there he had a CLASSIC expression on his face along w/the words to go w/it. I bet he has some respect for our 4 bangers now!

I would think as LT! with headers would be able to pass up a S2000, my buddy has just headers and CAI and traps 104, but nice kill.

 

I raced one earlier this week too, 2 times from a roll. First race was a 40mph roll, I gunned it in 3rd gear. I pulled about 1 1/2 cars on him when I hit about 70. The second time was about the same speed also in 3rd gear, he got the jump and was ahead about 1/2 car but I reeled him back and was ahead by about 1 car by 70. I don't know what was done on his car, but I know he at least had an exhaust.

 

^ if you've got an S (not sure) you probably should have been in second at 40mph, seeing that 1st gear tops out at 42.

 

True. If you were in your S, the result would have been better in 2nd @ 40 mph

 

Yah I know, but I have a SC So I knew I'll probably be able to stay with him staying in 3rd, no need to smoke him that bad. J/K

 

Nice Kill! I love racing Z28's as they are always up for the challenge and looking for fun. There is nothing better than the expression on their faces when a car with anything but an 8 cylinder under the hood walks them.. Priceless..

ummm.. the kid with the z28 is a shitty ass driver or you're just bullshitting your story, my friend with a 95 z28 lt1 motor with headers, cai, and exhaust, his car would beat any stock s2000 out there.. that car is hitting mid 13s, so there is no way your s2k would walk on him, i thought the same thing when i raced my friends z28 on a roll, the car just starts pulling, so unless that kid can not drive, i call a bs on your story
