Yeah, even without spray and those mods you should have walked him with no prob.

 

I have been less than forthcoming lots of time with turbo cars. It's stock..as long as you don't count my 'chip' that oh btw, adds 50RWHP. As far as 'spraying' goes...that's way to vague to say 'oh his car wasn't stock cuz you were spraying'. A dry 50 shot dumping into an already turbulent air take can often yield very little...maybe a couple of tenths in the quarter...direct port is a whole different story.

 

lol no i was not spraying at all, i did not think pulling buses on the poor guy was called for at the time, maybe i'll think again next time since he most likely had to be modded.

So a Saturn Sky does about 100 trap speed. Which is very comparable to a s2k. The only parts on your car that would have helped would be the exhaust and TP. The gears won't change your trap speed, only help you with your quarter mile if you get a good launch. If anything, 4.77's on a ap2 are super short and probably hurt your times from a roll. Its not too unbelievable to think that he was still stock and able to keep up with you from a roll. Spray, is a whole other ball game, however i can't see you getting much traction with that short a gearing! Prove me wrong, lets see some videos!

 

whew. reading this at first i was like "oh God no he didnt get beat on spray..." til i read the end. well i will have to agree with the others, all the bastard had to do is buy a boost controller and play with his air/fuel for an hour. one must remember, the oldest term on the face of the planet is "stock"
