Default SC S2000 vs 545i

So cruising through town last night with the top down, and a new (04-05) 545i pulls up next to us and takes off, the driver was in his 50's with his wife- we both did a double take and I followed him onto the freeway.

Get onto the freeway and he's about four cars up. He gets on it from about 75, we get on it... Dead even. He stayed four cars ahead, until almost the top of my 6th gear where he finally let up. We pulled up next to him and both he and his wife waved and took the exit, we took the next exit...

Top up, with just myself I'm pretty sure I could've walked him- but as usual, cars engineered for the autobahn ARE a force to be reckoned with on the freeway.

Installing aftercooler in the next week or two, then ordering standalone, injectors and smaller pulley.

Your CTSC @ 5.5 psi without aftercooler is still a little weak for other high-powered cars on the freeway.

Ive ran a 545i before and slowly pulled away from 50-110, dead stock... not that im that much more than stock now either. Granted I did it on a gently swooping left handed turn.

last month when i was at the track there was a 545i running 13.8's pretty consistantly. i guess i just figured they'd be a drivers race with a stock s2k. on the hwy way though, i'd think twice before messing with one.

Yeah... good thing you didn't cause I had the fun of racing one (not knowing it was an M5 cause it was behind me at night) and he raped me pretty badly... pretty badly... lol.

those things are quick! even my friend in his stage 2 SRT4 engaged the m6 and still got raped.
