Lets just say that this was a short lesson in humility...

I rolled off the freeway at Santa Monica blvd and proceded tward Century city. I got to a 3-2 merge and what rolls up next to me? A black S2K with some young business guy in it.

Light goes green and we all three pull out, only I stepped a little harder and he couldn't merge in front and had to slow to get behind, and procedes to ride my keister. I'm not one anymore for road rage so I let him have his fun.. normally break check was in order, but this IS a fellow honda owner and not some mudstain GT.

We get clear of the traffic behind us and he moves over next to me right next to the church (the big one with the yard a mile long, if your from LA) and he jumps over a lane and gets next to me at the ... are you ready for this.. RED light! and he revvs to whatever...

I dailed in 9psi on the BC and waited patiently.. while Jr. is revving mad like next to me. Cross traffic goes yellow and noone is on this stretch in front of us. I brought the revs up to 3k...

Light went green and Jr. drops the clutch at almost the same time. He gets some wheel spin (dropped to high) and I get some from a beautiful launch. Turbo spools up and both tires break loose around 6k.. I shifted at 8 and roasted the tires all the way through second, still progressing forward as he works his way into second or whatever... still about a 1/2 up on him when I went to third at 8k, tires stopped spinning and just grabbed and I caught another good solid car lengh... by the top of third I was a good solid car in front.. and shut down midway through 4th... having a total of a lenght and 1/2

We got to the next light and I gave the guy thumbs up. What did I get in return?? Glad you asked... The middle finger and some explative that I can only interpret as "F-U".

I smiled and went to work... I know Ryan and the couple guys we met at the honda-club were cool, but damn... if your gonna come down off the porch and play with the big dogs, expect to come home every now and then with some wounds...

Reminds me of the race vs. the 97-98 M3 on the same stretch of road when I was squeezing... god I love cars!!!

Best damn hobby one can have....

what IS the quarter mile time for the S2k??

It is regularly around 14.

Best at the track by anyone I know stock is a 13.8 by Sev, but the car could easily be a 15 driven by someone not knowing what they are doing!!

You think you're a "big dog?"

You drive a modded Acura Integra. One of the hundreds of thousands. So you saved a few bills to turbo it. And so you know how to shift when the needle goes near that red zone driving straight just like a monkey can be trained to do.

To be quite honest, you sound like a dumbass in all your posts.

I was fixin to say, there's not that many 'big dogs' on this board i would imagine. And why on earth would the tires break loose at 6k rpm?? You got that much lag? sheesh

Here you guys go again? Please tell me why you feel it nescessary to post your S2K kills here. Are you trying to convince us that our S2K sux and we all should go out and get a turbo Integra so we can be as cool as you....Keep dreaming kid. I don't think any S2K owner here will say that they are jealous of a Integra (turbo or not). I'm sure High School kids probably think you guys are the bomb with your ricey rides, but you are among a higher class of inteligent professionals here...PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE post your crap on the Integra board...

Jeleousy has nothing to do with looking at my tail lights when a S2K driver steps up to the plate... A kill story is a kill story, I didn't know that posting kills was delegated to JUST S2K's here.. hmmm

S2K's aren't bad for a HONDA!
