This section of S2Ki is going down the drain.....
What is with the quality of the posts in the Street Encounters forum these days?
Makes me sick...
How can we improve the nature as well as the atmosphere in this section?
Maybe more posts like Wesmaster's?
Cheers,
Bryan

I was about to lambast you for that statement until I saw your sig. and realized you were dripping in sarcasm.
This section of the board has gone down hill, IMO. Too much testosterone and ignorance and not enough thoughtful analysis. There's more than enough room on the road for all of us and all of our cars. We should learn to respect eachother's opinions and viewpoints instead of bashing eachother over the head with the ubiquitous "my johnson is bigger than yours" crap. Of course, that's just my opinion.

How about getting rid of this forum? I have some good reasons to consider it:
-- even the people who hang out here dislike the constant flame wars, exaggerations and repetition of the same concepts over and over ("it's 80% driver", "all the Civics in my neighborhood can kick C5 *ss", "its cheaper to buy a XXXXX and mod it than buy an S2000, and it will kick your *ss, too", "Mod your POS car and beat my S2000, but you still own a POS.") Nothing, NOTHING, is ever resolved here...just more and more endless bickering.
-- it brings in a constant supply of new flamers from other car boards...Miata owners, Corvette owners, Camaro owners...all here to flame, which spills into the other forums. How many Miata owners do we need posting flames in S2000 Talk?
-- 99.5% of the stories are boring and not worth the time to read. The few that were worth reading were all written by a certain dude from Utah. I say we give HIM his own forum to write whatever the hell he wants.
-- Since this forum has been around, the supply of clues has dropped drastically. Cluelessness is rampant on all of the boards and I blame it on the little kids drawn by this forum.
So, do we have a consensus to kill this forum? (Consensus? In the Street Encounters forum? Yeah, right.)

Sorry, the S2000 has been hanging out in the garage waiting to be fixed so I don't have any new stories to regail the S2KI community with. However, in due time MattH25 will once again reveal what happens when you mix inbreeding and slow american cars (not you Glen!)
