Default Should I run him?

This guy I met at the races last night wants to run me for 400 bucks...He obviously doesn't know what my S2K is capable of. He has an 86 Buick Regal and its an ugly black color. This thing is an absolute granny mobile and the motor is beat. It makes this whistling noise because he has a bad vacuum leak of some sort. This thing cant be quick at all, I mean MAYBE 16's in the 1/4 since it is at least a V6.

I agreed to run him and put the money down...and to make it fair I have even agreed to run with a 330 lb passenger...thats a combined total of 550 lbs. What a sucker this guy is...I am gonna pick his black grandma mobile apart.

You have no idea what can of worms you are about to open. That "whistling" sound is a turbo, NOT a vacuum leak. Look here for info about that car. Scroll down to see Car & Driver's test of an '86 Regal. 1/4 in 13.9, bone stock. And judging by the fact that this guy is bold enough to wager $400, he is probably FAR from stock.

My money's on him.

Are you sure it's not a Grand National, cuz if it is ...you'll get your @@$ handed to ya. Whistling noise ...a vaccuum leak...hehe. That's funny.

Sorry dude, you are going to need a lot more than exhaust, and intake to run a 13.1 in your S2000, even under the best of conditions. The best I have really seen is 13.8 stock, but closer to 14 flats. NO intake, exhaust, header combination will get you far from that.

I'm tempted to call bs and say gasguzzer is just a flamer....

Nah...I checked the IPs. They don't match. But I do agree that this guy has something up his sleeve. If you really, truly are getting 13.1 out of your S2K (I don't believe that for a second), you are smart enough to know a turbo when you hear one.

LOL...."vacuum leak."
