Cruising Saturday morning with Casterdog in the passenger seat and we end up next to a beautiful black Ford GT. A couple guys in their thirtys with wild looks in their eyes. The car obviously had an aftermarket exhaust.
I told Casterdog "hold on," the GT hit it and we followed suit. The GT was 1-1/2 cars infront of us as i got the clutch out. We quickly pulled even and gave them a big s...eatting grin. Then after quickly suprising them we ran out of first gear. I figured we really psyched the guy out.
I gave him a good pull in second advancing along with him and shuting down at 72 mph in second. He topped out and shut down about 75 but he was in first.
At that point we were mesmerized by the blue 18 inch flames rolling out the exhaust at the back of the car. The flames continued to just roll out for about 30 seconds as we were slowing down from too fast. Unreal.
It turns out the Ford GT has a smaller pulley, no cats, aftermarket exhaust, ecu reflash and larger throttle body. Good for 650+ hp to the rear wheels, a bit more than my S2000 makes.

Although your car is praised as the fastest car here by some, I'm going to have to say that the GT was not going at it 100% because a 650+rwhp fairly light ford GT is going to have no problem putting a few car lengths on a ~450rwhp s2k.
Either way, the flames must have been sweet
