Well once again on my way home from work im cruising at about 70 or so in the middle lane (3 lane road) and I notice some HID's coming up, I was hoping for a C6 Vette, I messed with one a week or so ago but he wouldnt bite. Anyways as it gets closer I see the flared fenders in my side mirrors as the light from the car next to it shines off of it. I was like hey sweet an Evo Well as he pulls up I look over and its a Silver Evo with an exhaust and still has new plates on it. I didnt think he was going to play. He gets about 1 car up on me so I slowly creep up to his rear fender and as I get close I hear him downshift, I was like ok cool lets see what its got. I downshift to 4th and when he hears me downshift (off road x pipe, its pretty loud) he floors it, he pulled maybe 1.5 cars on me but once I hit it I blew by him like he was in reverse. I took it up to about 120 and let off, he was a good 6-7 cars back. Once I let off I started driving 70 again hoping he would pull up so I could wave or give him a thumbs up. He got behind me and wouldnt pull up so I started to drive slower, eventually he starts to pass me as he gets ready to go by I roll down my window and wave and he doesnt even look over. I was like wtf?? Really I dont care, but I hate it when people get like that, it was just a friendly race, If he had pulled on me I would have waved at him. Oh well damn Evo's, I thought they were faster LOL....J/k guys.

 

You're a cool guy Quik but given the fact that most racers out there are ignorant, the guy or person in the Evo probably thought that you'd rolled down your window to give him the . Either that or you'd made him regret picking up a Evo , good race either way.

 

Was this in the ZO6 or the Cobra? Actually, it doesn't really matter, does it?

Lol, yeah it was in the Cobra and yes its supercharged, its an 03. I have intake, exhaust, pullies, tuner ported blower etc..Im hoping for 500+ whp once I finally get the rest of my parts (injectors, boost a pump and cooling mods) You never know what your going to run into, I was hoping he didnt have a huge turbo upgrade

 

I can put that into perspective. Dude probably just recently picked up the Evo (I assume it was a 9 since no plates?). Anyway, he's been selling how hot shit it is to all his boys who still drive 17 second Civics with park benches on the trunk, how it will smoke ANYTHING on the road. And with this here fartcan muffler, foggedabadit, it'll destroy liter bikes! But, then you gave him a flash of reality, with of all things, a domestic V8 aaaarrggghh, the pain must be too much to bear. There ya go, reason for the mad muggin'
