Default Silly Rustang

While driving home from picking up books for summer classes, I notice a black 06-07 Mustang GT pass me while I was waiting to turn onto his same road, brand new, still had the dealer temp tag on and everthing. Light turns green for me and I catch up to him, he's already maneuvered around the few cars moving slower, as I had to hit ~70 just to stay with him.

He revvs up, sounding completely stock, I kinda laugh, but have yet to race a new GT, so figure what the hell. He is the first to gun it so I drop it to 4th and easily pass him by and let off in 5th after I'm easily 4-5 car lengths ahead and switch to his lane, signalling the end of our little 'pull'. The next light we come to is my turn off, so he inflamingly revs his car hard as he passes by with his late 20's gelled back black curly hair and mirror Oakley's, obviously feeling a little less than when he first had the cocky smile he did when we were by each other after seeing I was 'just a noisy honda'.

Nothing spectacular, like I said, it was just interesting to me since it was my first race against a new mustang GT.

I hope your car is fi'ed, because the new Mustang GT is quicker, not to mention you pulled that much.

Edit: I do see a little "Forced Induction" badge in your sig, does that mean you have f.i. indeed?

Note the little spinning snail in his sig... I believe I remember reading airborne is InlinePro turbocharged, pushing over 400hp... I walk all over modded Mustang GT's with 300hp, he certainly shouldn't have any problems with them.

Nice kill by the way. I love to break the heart of those cocky drivers, especially when you see the temporary plates

Yes, I am Inline Pro turbocharged. I'm not pushing anything crazy, just ~405whp @ 20psi.

Sidenote: I live in a college town full of 20something year old kids who get handmedowns from rich parents that send them to UF (university of florida, thats right I'm a gator) from out of state or what have you and think they own the world...so please excuse my assholish attitude towards any arrogant egotistical drivers out there. I respect the potential of mustags and vettes (def. way more vettes) and other V8 american muscle; however, it is the driver I tend to more often disrespect, but it truly depends on his/her attitude and personality.

engines are usually broke in when you get them anyway. the "break-in period" is more for your braking system than anything else

i know too many engine builders that say after you've started the engine, and give it a quick break-in, drive it like you intend to drive it (drive it like you stole it )

those GTs come with an inflated ego i've embarssed several of them in my gas guzzlin SUV
