hey guys so last night it was about 70 here in the midwest. So me and my buddy decided to jump in our cars and go get ice cream. He has an 07 Sky redline stock and i have an 06 stock and we both had one girl passenger, he is an auto.

5 mph roll race: Rolled off the line and punched it shifted to second and we were even, third i pulled him by half a car and by 4th i was around a car ahead.

70 mph roll race: 3 honk and we take off i pulled ahead and when i shifted to 4th i was about a car ahead ran it up to 105 and was a car ahead.

80 mph roll race: i dont know if he brake boosted or what but he pulled ahead right from the get go, didnt catch him till about 100 and we shut down.

 

On the 80 pull what gear did you start in???

*80 pull sucks for AP2 you have to be way at the bottom of 4th since your 3rd tops out at 78mph...

I have a neighbor who has one and he will not run it with my stock MY07. I really want to see them run.

 

Nice, to bad with some cheap upgrades to that car; they can get major horsepower wish the same were to for our cars

 

^ It's just because ours came from the factory after extensive R&D and therefore was already nearly the best it could be!

 

Considering the Sky/Solstice cars already have some of the worst reliability records of any recent GM product, I suspect that a few cheap mods to up the hp is going to keep in in permanent hood-open mode.

 

^Is that engine reliability? The ecotec engines are damn near bullet proof, last I heard.
