Im heading into town going through the twistys in the country and a white saturn sky pulls out behind me from a turn off. I wanted to let him catch up and then gun it but I caught up to a toyota tundra around the next bend. Im right on the guy hoping he will pull over since there is alot of traffic around 5:30 but no such luck... I peek in my mirror and the Sky starts weaving in his lane (like he is trying to keep his tires hot or whatever) so I give him a nod like OK lets go. The next corner is a 20MPH 90 degree right hander and I know there is a long enough strait after the corner for both of us to pass if its open. As we aproach the corner I match from 3rd to 2nd in anticipation. As soon as the truck enters I can see its empty around the Tundra like it wasnt even mooving Tak-out 2nd, run 3rd till 8k then let off leaving plenty of room for a 747 to land between the tundra and myself. Then the SKY did nothing

Maybe the sky didnt want to race you maybe he was just bored from the slow moving traffic infront of him. Anyways what was the encounter the truck you passed?

OP, kinda off topic but how tough was it to remove your soft top??

I have a hardtop and am considering doing a full soft top delete myself.

 

It was pretty easy, I did it by myself and it took about 6 hours. If I were to do it again I would have a buddy help also take pictures and label stuff while your taking it apart because It can get confusing when you go to put it all back together again

 

No, you fail boost76, skys are not made by opel, for saturn. They are made by GM for saturn and pontiac and opel also buys them.
