Sleeper S2K vs LS1 Camaro
Hey Guys,
So i was coming back from christmas shopping, on the highway, with my friend, when i see this sinister looking camaro with big dual pipes and large rear wheels! This is one of the first times i've been able to open up my car since i got it retuned, so i definitetly wasn't MMOB...
I come up on the left lane, he is in the middle lane behind some traffic. I slow down to his speed and just kinda stay there for a minute, trying to get his attention. Then speed up and look for a two lane opening! At this point, he has followed behind me and looks interested! I get in the middle lane and slow down. He comes up, in a high gear, which i can hear from inside my car, in front of him! I downshift to 3rd gear at 55 mph, which in my car is about 5k rpms. He keeps rev'ing the motor, lurching, then slowing down etc... I'm kinda
but wait for him to go...
At this point he is about half a car behind me... He finally floors it, and gets about half a car ahead, before i react and floor it too! At 5k, i am about 500 rpms away from full spool, so from the time i react to the time its spools, he's get another half a car! At which point its over, i pull about 2 cars on him in third, then go to 4th and pull another 5-6, shift to 5th at which time, he is so far behind me i can't even make out his lights! My friend is laughing the whole time and i couldnt help but laugh too. I slow back down to 65 and the guy doesn't come near me I see its my exit and signal to get off. He goes past me, with his girlfriend shaking her head, and him giving me what either looked like a thumbs up or finger... I couldn't really tell.
I'm guessing that he thought my car was an easy kill, so kept lurching to see if i went first and then he could reel me in and do a flyby! The guy had virginia plates too, so i'm guessing i livened up his drive at the least
