Some Kills from the last week
Been getting into a lot of random races recently. Last night I met up with a couple people that have been wanting to run me.
1st race-
1998 Ford Mustang
Built Modular 2v ( heads, cam, forged internals )
2.1L Whipple @ 9psi
480whp/477 tq
I was on 18psi for this race 480whp tune for me...
We did one race...40-140. I started in 2nd gear and well by the end of the race I was 4-5 cars ahead and freight training this guy. His car was really nice and sounded great but was no match for me on racegas. I even have a BLOWN manifold gasket and its leaking and that didnt matter at all.
2nd race -
1995 Supercharged NSX
Full headers, exhaust, intake
2800 lbs
Kenne Bell Kit @ 8psi

I turned it down to 10psi for the NSX and we did a 45-135 on this race. It was close with me on 10psi. We were dead even until 3rd and 4th gear...thats where I put about 1 1/2 cars on him and held that to 135mph. My 3rd and 4th gear are where I am either going to win a race or lose it, tonight I won it with those gears.
3rd race-
Random 01+ mustang GT
Loud ass exhaust
cobra wheels, etc
Who knows what this guy had...I had just put racegas in the tank and he followed me 5 miles to the interstate and kept wanting to run. I drop it to 3rd gear @ 60mph or so and as he hears me do this he does the same. I let him get a car ahead after a little 3 honk and go...at this point I push my foot to the floor and rip 3rd and 4th gear and realize hes about 5-6 cars behind. Sometimes its like people are sitting still when the S hits boost on the highway.
