so im on my way home from work today on 635 which is a 6 lane highway at some parts and i get out early enough so i dont get traffic, makes for fun driving. so im cruising about 115 or so just takin it easy and then i see this car coming up from behind me quick and at the same time the v1 goes off so i hit the brakes and think crap, back to jail for racing, damnit. so ive slowed down to a lil under 65 and he comes pullin up to me, its a new vette!!!!!!!, fricken awsum. he revs it up and what do u kno hes already got exhuast. so i rev back at him since ive got custom bent exhuast and a custom intake i made, he downsifts and starts popping it, ok race im down i wanna see this thing go ya kno? so we slow down some jus a lil under 50 and i get it in second gear, i signal that we go on 3 honks. honk one, honk two, honk three i gun it out a lil early i think hey im gonna need it right. hes late off the jump so i get a 1 1/2 cars on him from a great start. he starts to gain back on me, hes about to pass me and then he stops pulling on me and what do you kno im pulling away all the way up to 135 where i prolli had about 3 cars on him when we see a cop on the side of the highway so i slamm the brakes and jump off the highway and he flys by and passes him. i never new the cop was there since i turned the v1 off since he had one too and they were setting each other off, damn close call but im proud of ma car, another kill in the book

nah dude he was on it pretty hard i could tell by the sound of his exhuast, it was fricken loud, do they have kits out for it already or do u guys think its custom

 

You live in the dallas area? 635 is right down the street from my house...but yeah, 05 vette would smoke your ass, no question about it....and arent you the same guy that took vtec out of your car?!?!?!?

yeh i did, it showed great gains too specially for being free since i can do it at my buddies shop, other than that all i got is intake and exhuast, both custom. it is still strangely fast tho for what it is, im thinking its what ive heard people call a factory freak i think. like it comes from the factory hella fast cus they messed up and bored higher than normail or something like that, could this be why its fast?

 

Um maybe they put a V8 in by mistake???

a new c6 is about the same as a z06.......no way in hell you beat one.....sorry.. 240hp vs. 400... he was playing or knew there was a cop up the road... or started in 6th gear... i own a z06 and a s2000... huge huge huge differance
