Default Is this a Southern thing??

Is it just me or does every redneck with a Z71 and Flowmasters think he's the fastest thing on the road??

Ya'll ain't seen shiat...!!

(said in perfect redneck... if I might add!)

No one on this forum has the right to complain, unless you've lived at least one summer in the motorcity! Ford... Chevy... Dodge... It's not only the rednecks backyard... it's their damn DISNEYLAND!!

I've posted threads about how annoying Camero and Mustang owners are around here before. Every mullet wearing, Budweiser drinking, hairlipped kid around here thinks he is the fastest thing Detroit has to offer!!

...poor kids have been watchin' too much damn NASCAR for their own good!

Coming from Ga, now living in Las Vegas, I can not beleive the culture shock. The S fits in here at Vegas but in GA all the good'ol boys always wanna run there Mustangs or WS6.

NO, It's not a southern thing, it's a big ass truck thing. It happens everywhere that trucks and SUV's rule the road, which is, well, pretty much everywhere these days.

Nope, not a Southern thing. Rednecks know no boundaries--they are everywhere. Even the UK and Germany have their fair share.

BTW, Friday03, I've driven my S thru Lexington and never had a problem out there in NASCAR land. I'm guessing you're complaining about the Lexington locals?

No, jmc1971, I would expect it in NASCAR land (Lexington, NC)... but these are SC country boys with Browning, #8, and turkey track stickers in the rear window! You have to stay ahead of them to avoid the dip spit!

Have mercy on me. I live in Homestead and the last race of the year for NASCAR is being held three miles from my home. I thought Tuesday might be a little early for the redneck ramp up but they're here already. Between the Dale versions of the Monte Carlo and pickups with 3-inch downpipes, I might as well hibernate for a week. Coming back from the 'Falls (outside mall) today, I met up with not one but four revs at various redlights.
I hate to generalize, but they make it soooo easy.
