Default squeak!

So me and the wifey are driving to a sports shop the other day (had to get her a new golfing glove), and I'm zipping through traffic briskly. We're on a road that is 35mph, I'm going 40, and most people go like 10.

So anyways, we get up to a stoplight in the right lane, and there is a row of cars on the left, and I have to get over to the left to make a turn. There is a black semi tinted window ricer sitting at the light. I glanced and i think it was like a dodge stratus or something. I saw a dude driving and a girl in the passenger seat.

The light turns and I start some brisk acceleration to get ahead of traffic, and then i hear it. *squeak* The dude in the stratus must have just noticed me and my car and starts off the light late, mashing the gas of his high performance vehicle, and the tires give out a monstrous squeak as they lose traction for the greater part of a half second.

With that he zips up, but I have already been well ahead of him (35% throttle? 40 maybe?) and had moved over, thus stopping his car from reaching 88mph with 1.21 jigowatts and traveling back in time.

I'm snickering a bit to myself, as we wait at the next light, with him behind me. The light turns and I accelerate briskly again. And then i hear it. *squeak* Aw hell no, you don't squeak me 2 times in a row, the gloves are off omg!

We get to the last intersection before my turn, once again stopped at a light (damn west bend). This time I'm ready, and i'm definitely not gonna let him squeak me again, no sir!

The light turns, I mash the gas, get to 40, slam it to 2nd, and my squeak from 1-2 was definitely much bigger than his squeak. Unfortunately I don't think he heard it though, because sound simply doesn't travel fast enough to cover the distance between me and him at that point.

Dude, you have to add a line like:
"With his FRONT 185-width tires clawing valiantly for traction as his 130-thundering horses bore down on me...."

I know it's sad but I love annihilating slow cars that try to race you. Wait for them to go WOT and pull 1/2 a car on you, then proceed to finish said gear that you're in and be 3-4 cars in front and shut down, not even shifting into the next gear
