Default Squeez'n S2K

HEy everyone.. I would just like to ask how bad a Stock S2000 will lose to a 01' Mustang Cobra (320hp).... and would the S2000 lose if it was Squeezing 60 shot (NOS), INJEN intake, HKS Hiper exhaust?

hmmmmm that is a good question....I have an 01 cobra(stock dyno #'s in sig) stock for stock my guess is the cobra would win but with a 60 shot of NOS no doubt you would win as long as traction is not an issue in s2k. Alot of the 01 cobras that I have seen are running 13.4-13.6 @104-105mph in the 1/4 stock. All in all I am sure the race will come down to the driver. If and when you run this 01 please post the results, I am very curious as to the outcome.

No problem. He is taking a very immature approach to wanting to race me. for instance, "Where do you wanna get beat.. picka street for your piece of SH*T to get smoked"... but thanks, you prove all cobra owners arent like that.. well we probably wont race until saturday. my kit is getting installed sometime this week but i will definatley keep you posted..

If he's stock you have a good chance of winning based on your exhaust and intake alone(Depending on each driver ability). With NOS on top it shouldn't even be close, don't know why he's talking so much shit.

Yeah I'm not sure why hes talkin so much shit either... However -no one- knows im going to be squeezing a 60 shot...that should put me at around what 310 hp w/ intake/exhaust/60 shot... (not to the wheels)... and our cars are about 900lbs lighter???... a Cobra has 320 hp (not whp)...

Hey Blk the weight difference is between 700-800 depending upon if he is in a vert or a coupe. Most of the 01 cobras are around 270-280RWHP which is between 320-330FWHP....The power to weight ratio is very close with the edge going to the cobra(stock)....Not sure how the s2k's react to N20, but the cobras loves it case in point with a 125 shot put almost 170RWHP extra and almost 250RWTQ so you are looking at #'s such as 450RWHP/550RWTQ pretty impressive for just a 125 shot of N20 on a stock DOHC motor.....That guy is crazy for calling your car a POS...actually I was very close to getting one when I was looking at verts but the s2k here in Atlanta was marked way over sticker I think they were asking mid 40's at the time I was looking to place an order so I went with the cobra which cost me 34k just a little more than the s2k. Let us know how the race goes

If he can drive, it may be close if you are going straight depending on your launch. Race him through some turns and let him see the tail lights of your POS.

I think that 281 rwhp and 286 tq would rip you a new asshole, but that's just IMHO.
