I also know the owner of the SRT-4, the C5 and the site owner. The SRT is not stock, but not heavily modded by any means. Its not unusual to see a vid of a S2000 losing to one. Even if it wasn't stock, its still the fastest car you can buy for under $20,000. Not alot of people on here can say they are faster than a stage 1 SRT-4.

^I don't think anybody have a problem with a SRT-4 modded or stock beating a stock S2K, it's the other cars on that list. The comment about the the top being down, maybe he was being sarcastic? In any case, he doesn't speak for everybody here. It would just be nice to know what mods the SRT-4 have that it can beat some of those cars.

"The car is not stock" is the key phrase here. Whether a car is heavily modded or not is a relative term. To some, supercharging an S2000 is considered to be heavily modded, while some disagree. You're in a gray area now since the car is no longer performing the way the OEM designed it to run in stock trim. In short, anything can happen when you start modding at any level.

Changing just the tires and suspension can take a car struggling in its respective autocross class and take it to the top shaving a handful of seconds of his/her times. A turbo swap IMHO doesn't constitute a heavily modded label, while some do. On some turbocharged cars, a simple chip upgrade and boost controller provides gains that anyone doing an CAI, cams, header, exhaust on a NA car can only dream of.

Yeah... the owner stated that... his best friend... and his partner...

I DIDN'T KNOW SCHIZO'S COULD VOTE MORE THAN ONCE!!?? lol!

At least all three of "him" are not trying to quote , and are in fact stating that it is not stock... and giving reasoning behind the C5 losing... but wholly coincidence! All three with S2ki ages of 0!!??

and giving reasoning behind the C5 losing
I did not lose. Check this thread: http://www.srtforums.com/forums/showthread...&threadid=28627

where the srt4 owner admits I won.

Am I the only one who thinks that 2 of the posters are the same person?
If you guys think its all the same person posting, ask a moderator to check the IP addresses.

I own the SRT4.
My mods are Mopar stage 1, AEM intake, AGP adjustable wastegate actuator set at 17.5 lbs and a .38 gap on factory plugs. That's it. So yes, it's not stock, it wasn't stock after the first week I've owned it. Other miscellaneous mods are Eibach pro-kit, Suspension Technigue sway bar bushings and 2" shorter rear end links to regain the factory sway bar geometry after lowering, Rev Model X wheels with Kuhmo Ecsta 712 (don't everyone have these?) 215/45/17, Kenwood headunit (4019), Diamond Audio M3 mids and highs, Rockford 750X amp, Rockford HE 12" sub, Sirius satellite radio.
The S2k and I raced from a 40 roll on the interstate (which is what he said to do) and I let him get the jump (as shown on video). It's clear what happened. Yeah, he had the top down and his neons on but he knew we were gonna race. We talked in a parking lot, left for the interstate to race and did the damn thing. No excuses, someone had to lose. Glad it wasn't me. Oh yeah, you can check out my IP addy as well to see I am not the same guy like would be implied. You can check out more vidz on SRVidz.com (please right click, save as) and check out these local guys on racingpensacola.com
