if its a ap2 04-2008 and a good driver he would take you. if its from a roll and your upgraded i'm pretty sure you can take the s2000 but not by more than 1 car

i have 236whp/211wtq and my car weighs 2935lbs.
s2ks dyno around 190-205whp stock and 150-160wtq stock and weigh 2855lbs

I've raced a stock ss/sc cobalt before and I got him by about a car and a half from a roll. Thats when I only had my tp which adds 0-3whp.

Heres a video of me racing a modified ss/sc cobalt. Hes pretty modified and ran a 13.2 a week on the same setup before I raced him. Click on the info button on the youtube page for the complete list of mods. I have my test pipe, K&N drop-in filter, and 75 shot(crank hp not whp) of nitrous. I also missed 2nd gear.

I'd say an AP2 would take one anyday with a proper driver.

 

why would you come onto an s2k sight to ask these sort of questions? this will muster up some controversy?

Why not go race one and find out for yourself? because most of the answers your going to get are the s2k beating you. its just common sense

 

No kidding, you come on here, ask an idiotic question that you already know the answer to, and then expect people to kiss your ass and say your modified car is faster than a stock S2000? Miserable fail.
