Default STi vs SC S2k

STORY BELOW

I'm out cruising feelin out the newly installed SC when my friend calls me up screamin for me to come to a 7-11 and race a white STi thats there. Before i can get there the STi leaves so i catch up and follow. Come to a 2 lane road i pull up, kid looks over puts down his cell phone and take off. I drop second and start catching up, pass him by the end of 3rd. We stop at a light, he sais nice car, I reply with you too.

Stock STi vs SC S2000 with HKS exhaust
Light turns green and we're still sitting, i rev up, he takes off first getting about 1.5 cars on the launch, i start catching him in 2nd, by the end of 3rd I am passing him and the middle/top of 4th i had about 3-4 cars.

That was the best race of my life. The feeling I got when i pulled HARD away from him was just unexplainable. 3 days ago I looked at that car as being unbeatable no matter how good i could of driven the NA S2. All the money put into it suddenly seemed %200 worth it.

When I'm done it will all cost me about $6,000 with SC, front mount, smaller pulley, clutch, flywheel, tuning and install of everything.

I got a great deal on everything but would like to finish this setup.

Wholly shit....that's alot of stuff for $6K.

I live in Socal and for $6K I can only get the SC w/AC installed.

No extras like:

Pulley
Clutch
Flywheel
Tuning

have you gotten dyno'd yet?
have you done any 1/4 mile runs?

your next step should be to do a run with a mildy modd'ed STI (boltons, boost control, AEM), i'd be interested to see how close it would be.

nice run though!
