Default Stook vs Teg TypeR

I was just cruzin home in my stook earlier today when i spotted this yellow typeR. well i thought maybe he wanted to play so i started edging up behind him. when the street split into two lanes i dropped it into second from 4 at around 40ish mph. i blew by him and gradually slowed down in front of him. i looked at my rear view mirror and saw that one of my friends was in the passenger side. well anyways we then both took quick right turns with me leading. he pulls up closer to my left side so i stuffed the gear into 2nd again around 40. i think i took off first but the most unexpected thing happened! i didnt really have all that much room but by the time i reached 80is in 2nd i coulda sworn he was pulling on me! i really couldnt believe it. well the way i see it either i ****ed up, that teg was modded pretty well, or i just plain cant drive(although all i had to do was drop the gear and mash the gas down) anyways it was fun. it was cool having two yellow blurs speed down the street together in Vtec!
well thanks for hearing my first "kill" post

Type-R's are just about the same speed as the s2000 stock for stock....they may only have 200 hp but they're lighter and have that viscious limited slip FWD that gives them an edge off the roll. If it was modded at all(even exhaust) it would be extremely close...the type-r is a marvelous car, but the s2000 should win 7 out of 10 times.

Straightline, stock for stock? You serious? My buddy must have one heck of a slow stock Type-R or I have a ringer S2000.

I didn't say it wasn't faster....I said it's close enough to be decided by driving ability, which it is.

FYI. the LSD on the Type R is the same type as the LSD in the S2K... unless I read it wrong (Torsen LSD).

It is much easier to launch a Type R but to the more experienced S2K driver, the S2K will win hands down (even if the ITR is slightly modded). But for an ignoramus S2K driver (read as Kibro - heh), it should be close and can go either way.

Just my $0.02.

BTW, I agree, the ITR is one helluva fun car! ... so is the S2K.

From what i've read on many of these posts an S2k with exhaust vs. a Trans AM WS6 or a 911(much faster) comes down to the driver, so why is it so hard to believe that an ITR(slower) vs. S2k comes down to driver....
