Subaru WRX vs. Stock 'looking' S2K
so im driving home from work with the top down, its a nice cool evening and i have the tunes blasting. as im passing the last exit for morristown i see this car cut off a bmw and i can smell the tell tale test pipe... that and the very unmuffled unequal firing sound of a boxer motor that can only be a WRX... 
So im behind him, and the road opens up... He downshifts and floors it and i just WOT in six
My turbo spools and i get 14 psi at around 5000 and accelerate for quite a while, with me keeping up pretty easily. The road finally opens up to 2 lanes... He goes WOT in the outside lane and i downshift it to 4th. I didnt have time to brake boost so i had to wait for the turbo to spool. As soon as that happened, i quickly accelerated, over took him on the middle lane while waving to him with the top down. I shift to 5th and have about 7-8 cars on him. i quickly slow down and wave for him to pull up... he doesnt and does a ricer flyby... i get off at that exit chuckling...
I run a stock exhaust and have painted my intercooler black... its on stock 16's and the only way you can tell my car is anything from stock is the turbo spool and vent to atmoshphere wastegate

the motor and turbo kit were swapped from my friends '04 into my '01. When it was in his car it made 382whp... i really want to get a straight 3inch exhaust and have it retuned (the 2.25 tubing is rather restricting
) but alas, i am broke.
